Good lord, what a football game. The Baltimore Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns with 47-42 and the number of crazed storylines is too many to cover them all. The Ravens improved to 8-5, while the colored drops to 9-4 in a wild AFC race. On the storylines!
Lamar Jackson had poo
The Ravens QB left the game in the third quarter and went to Raven's locker room. ESPN's Lisa Salters said no one knows why, but without anyone warming up, it quickly became clear why Jackson ran to the locker room. The Ravens announced it as cramps, but it is safe to say the man had to go to the bathroom. Players can often sideline pool with players around them, but number two strikes, you can not stay on the sidelines
Lamar Jackson returns with heroism
Trace McSorley replaces him and manages to injure his knee on a horrible playing surface. He left and Jackson returned facing a 4th and 5th from the 2-minute warning. He fell back and found Marquise Brown deep for a 44-yard touchdown to give the Ravens a 42-35 lead.
Justin Tucker does his thing
The Browns responded with an amazing drive to level the game at 1:04, and it looked like we would go to overtime. Instead, the Browns' defense did what he did all night and absolutely blew it. Jackson hit Mark Andrews three times for 28 yards, and the Ravens set up Justin Tucker for a 55-yard field goal. He’s one of the greatest kickers ever and he drilled it. The Ravens took a 45-42 lead by two seconds and this game was in the bag.
